North Yorkshire Police reported having received a great number of calls overnight, mostly due to trees and other debris blocking roads.  

Amongst the downed trees causing trouble across the area, were trees at Temple Hirst, A1041 at Camblesforth, A659 at Tadcaster, between Chapel Haddesley and Burn, Eggborough, A162 at Towton.

Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported resulting from the storm.
