Police looking for three following toll bridge assualt

Police in Selby have released an image of three men they would like to speak to following an assault on the town's old Toll Bridge.

The incident occurred at around 12.20am in the early hours of Friday, 18 November on Selby Toll Bridge when an 18-year-old local man was assaulted by three men.

 

The victim suffered minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.

 

A 20-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with the incident and later released on police bail.

 

PC Ben Astin, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "I am urging anyone who can identify any of the men in the images to contact the police, or Crimestoppers if they would prefer to provide information anonymously, as soon as possible."
